With aluminium or poly lining, wherever indicated. The ends, i, e the top and bottom of the container are made from tin or high grade plastic material.

The shells or tubes are fabricated by winding layers of paper material over a spindle (mandrel) under high tension. These layers are joined together with a strong quick drying adhesive specially formulated for this purpose. Poly or aluminium linigs, wherever indicated are wound inside the shell along with paper material to provide special protection to the products.

The shells of composite containers may be wound spiral or parallel depending upon the size of the containers. Label is affixed the shell.

Tops (ring and lid) of the containers which may be made from tin or plastic material are pressed on to the shells.

Clients are required to fix the bottoms of the containers in their own factories after filling the containers with the product to be packed.

It is due to these advantages that composite containers are finding favour and are progressively being used more and more in different industries with highly diverse product lines. A list of industry -wise applications of composite containers is given at annexure ‘A’. The list is by no means comprehensive .As you will see, composite containers have wide application in you particular industry.
